MOOD: thinking too hard..
sighs, the question of the day is, to cut my hair or not. A sassy bob would be just adorable, but if i grow my hair out enuff i could have a sort of luxurious look; which i'd
LOVE to go for but if your of A.A (african american) descent then you
KNOW that growing ur hair out is gonna take a little bit of patience topped with forever and 4 days.. The thing is, i wanna be different. I dont like staying the same bc after a while u get bored and so do others. Being the same has no individuality. I've been kickin it kinky for quite sometime that its become part of my personality. Maybe the bob would be a better choice since im turning 18 in 2 weeks. Im gonna wanna look more like an adult.
PLUS i
KNOW that long &&luxurious will boost my head up 10 fold...not that i would mind anyways.
besides... i wanna wash my hair now, and i dont know if u can wash it wit these things in...
I want to color my hair, I plan on using the loreal colorpulse stuff. I have to take out my sew-in, first. Then my hair will be a purple sheep-ass, instead of a black sheep-ass. Wish it were more manageable.
Thought about getting a texturizer... but I don't know how that will work out.

It's getting to be time to kill my sew-in, I've had it for two months. My hair grows crazy-fast, so it's not all that flattering anymore. :/
They don't take that long to get done, but once you have it "styled" a certain way, you're kinda stuck with it until you take it down, so make sure you get the part/bang/etc where you want them.

Definitely get real hair for a sew in. Synthetic usually ends up looking crappy, tangling, and all sortsa ick. I bought two packs of 12" remy hair for 12 dollars a pack, and it's still holding up pretty well. It sheds a bit, but it's not tangled, and if I actually take care of it, it looks really nice.
You can flat iron it, curl it, whatever, but you really can't part it any differently from the part that's been sewn in.

I've had plenty of people (I hate to say it, but all white... :p) say "wow, I didn't know that wasn't your hair!" (I figure a fellow weave-user can identify a weave on someone else, haha)
But if it's done well, you shouldn't be able to tell it's a sew-in. I would have liked a whole-head cover, but the person who did mine left out a chunk, and it doesn't fit well at all, because the tracks are colored 1b, and my hair is 1... but it's well done, so it's not lumpy or anything. It only looks fake-ish when I don't take care of it and let an end hang out or something.

It cost me 40 dollars because I had a friend do it. The hair was about 25 dollars after taxes/whatever. She did a really good job, too.
I've heard that it can run from between 8 and 15 dollars per each piece that needs to be sewn in.
If I get it done again, I'm going to see if I can get it done in smaller sections so i can do more with it.

Short hair feels great the first little while, but I guarantee you'll miss your hair. I regret cutting mine very time that I do.

Haha I have plenty experience with extensions... they are wonderful. Until you have to take them out, that is.

I say cut it.
I cut mine off a few months ago and it was the best thing I'd done to it in a long, long time.

Well if you cut it and don' t like it I guess it will always grow back...
