ok.. so i FINALLY worked up the courage to do a sew in... so .. here are some pics:
i guess this will be my new do for a while... its good for letting ur hair grow to the length you want it to... and it gives your hair a rest! my overall analysis would be ok.. something ill do the next time i do it is make the braids smaller.. and maybe braid cornroll instead of side to side! lols. ♥

Nice! Wish mine came out like that, but I have a full-head except for the chunk in the front, so there's an obvious part where she left out my chunk of hair and the weave doesn't cover it, because i don't have a finishing-top thing.
If I get it done again, I'll have to have that portion of my hair permed.
I think when I take this out, I'm going to buy some of the color pulse/flash stuff by dark & lovely/loreal... I want a purple fro.

TWO DAYS?! Sheeeesh. Your hair looks like it's blending in pretty well. I think everyone's hair is like that, it looks black until it's in the sun, then it looks kinda brown. Especially if it's been permed.
